FS: White's Farmer-Rancher Boots - size 9D - STEEL TOE

I'm selling my custom White's Farmer-Rancher Boots. They are two years old and in good condition. Given the steel toe, they have some nicks, scratches, cuts, etc. on the toes. I have regularly treated them with Obenauf's Heavy Duty

Are these really brown?

Yeah, they are brown.

They were treated with obenauf's shortly before those pics were taken, which always darkens them. After the obenauf's wears down, they appear much more brown.

Would it be too much to ask to see them in their right color?

Here is a pic I just took. They'll lighten up after a couple months to a rich chocolate, and when they do the leather is ready for some hydration. This dark brown, almost black, color is the exact color they were when they arrived direct from White's.

The dealer that ordered them called it elk tanned leather. It might also or conversely be called oil tanned leather.
