Scarce: Denim: From Cowboys to catwalks (Graham Marsh and Paul Trynka Aurium 2002)

This First edition of the infamous denim bible by Mr. T is in the larger format (later editions are in a compact size format with a different cover).

All you need to know (unless you are me) on the history and development of this wonderfull fabric, from it's roots in San fransisco through the many manufacturers (Levis, Lee..etc) and era's that have defined it (miners/cowboys/WW2 & the '50's through to the modern day interpretations. Condition is good (I would say 9/10) with very little wear&tear: Some turning of edges and first couple of pages with marks (nothing to detract from the excellent images though). Pictures tell all, although far too many to post all!

Very Rare: Levis S506XX jacket size 48" (XL) BNWT and booklet

Made in (the now closed) Valencia street factory, stamped 555 on all button-backs, a generously sized wartime reproduction of the front pleated blouse. Awesome details on this type one jacket: Yellow stitching throughout, laurel-wreath buttons, plain rivets and beautifull raw denim made on the old looms in San Fransico. If this was a size 44", I'd be keeping it. Comes with all the tags and booklet (which hasn't been opened as it's still in the pocket, and can only be opened once the pocket tag stitching is cut/removed!)

Actual measurements -

Armpit to armpit =26"

armpit to cuff end = 24.5"

shoulder to shoulder = 21"

shoulder to cuff end = 26.5"

collar seam to waistband = 26.5"

around waist =24.5"
