OG did you not mean jeans people have hand distressed ? Purposely ?

The other threads are for people who wore their jeans to distress - I think you were asking something different

Here's everything I did to them:

- Starched upper legs and back of knees and dried them with hot air while in bent position

- Two grades of sandpaper for whiskers, honeycombs, and edges

- Stained most of the jean with concentrated coffee/tea mix

- Rubbed rocks, sand, dirt in between sanding them

- Tried to shrink the stretching in the butt and knees with water and hot-air

- Stretched the calves by stuffing the leg openings with towels, spraying the lower legs with water, and then beating the jean by hand.

- Also tried to get some shine in the jean by rubbing it with leather.

I've yet to do the first wash though, i'm hoping they'll shrink back to normal cuz the butt and knees are starting to get ridiculously baggy. I think I'll get one softer grade of sandpaper and blend the whiskers/honeycombs better, and i'm not sure if the leather shining will really do anything if I plan on washing them, I'm sure they'll just get dull again.

i had some explaining to do. i had to think of something other than "well i want to have it distressed on my back pocket"- since i wouldn't even know how to say that in chinese anyway.

Sneakeraddict- sorry man haven't been online. Here's what I did.

I cold soaked my stf's for a few hours when I first got them and hung them out to dry. After that, I wore them pretty much everyday, starching the thighs and behind the knees every 4-5 days or so. After about a month, when all the creases were set, I just took some sand paper (I think the grit was 150) and sanded from my waist down to my knees while wearing them. I sanded over the creases on accident and ended up with those white lines, which I think look pretty good. I did the same for the back. As for the holes, I did that by sliding the blade from a small pocket knife left to right on the area where I wanted the hole to be. When I was done with the sanding and cutting and what not, I threw them in the washer using cold water and some normal detergent and ALOT of fabric softener. Then I threw them in the dryer under warm heat. Thats it. I hope this helps man.

First so-called wash. Salt-water plus rubbing sand all over with a final rinse, and a lay flat in the sun for maybe an hour in the evening. Pictures taken without a lot of light, sorry. Depending on how they look when completely dry, I'll maybe distress even further before machine washing.
