Dry Denim... Indigo dye fading on hands.... is it poisonous???

Guys since the indigo dye fades so easily from a pair of dry denim..... and gets easily onto hands..... and then we eat with our hands and sort of.... have u guys wonder the health hazard involved if there's any???

I seen from somewhere that dyes are poisonous.....

in all seriousness, i don't believe anyone has died from cotton indigo dye poisoning through stains on their hands. if you're worried just wash your hands before you eat. i know i do, especially if i've been out all day. in fact i know of a good many things more dangerous than the colour on my pants. doorknobs for example.

indigo dye is not good for ur skin. here i m talking about synthetic dye, because most of jeans use sythetic indigo. but it shouldnt be the problem, if you keep urself clean, and take shower regularly.

Not poisonous. Has been traditionally used as medicine, antiseptic, skin & hair colourings, tattoo 'ink'.

It doesn't mean to say that you should eat a kilo of the stuff.
