Hedi Slimane didn't invent jeans w/ braces. Anyone who thinks so is extremely ignorant.

How is the price a deterrent, vs. the other quality selvage jeans in that range? 5EP, Rag&Bone, Nudie, etc.? I'd like to comment on Corpus' denim and say that it's truly great. Their wide-loom denim as well as their selvage stuff is really good looking.

The weight. 11oz is NOT weak. I don't know where you guys got that idea. Nudie Greycast denim is some 14oz or so (not sure to be honest) and wears like paper. 45rpms are as low as 9 oz. Some Rag&Bone denim is 10.5oz and wears like iron. Weight has some bearing in the durability, but seriously, it doesn't mean that they're shit. Light weight denim is a godsend for those of us in hotter territories.

I'm not saying that Corpus jeans are the best for everyone, but rimming their shit when you've never seen it and are basing your proof off unconfirmed knowledge is not very cool.

I didnt say they invented them. However, they are most def. bringing the braces look to the current fashion forefront, and anyone who denies that is blind. The price , to me, is kinda high vs say, imperial or apc, you can even get diors for that same price. I didnt even say I didnt like them, im still undecided.

I really dont like DrugsAreBadMkay

They look pretty good to me. I've really liked most of the Corpus denim I've seen, the only deterrent is the back pockets, IMO.

The price doesn't seem that bad either, honestly. Though, I think I've come to a point where I'm no longer sensitive to prices under $300.

Personally I think that a pair of LVC or Japanese 1890's with braces would look way better and less trendy and mainstream than skinny jeans with skinny everything else, converse and braces.

$240 is ridiculous for those, though. I payed 230 for my SD103s and 220 for my Samurais.

The prices on jeans in the US are crazy. In Sweden you save money if you buy from Swedish brands, in the US you save money by ordering from Japan.

If you've lost your faith in superfuture, Oh the end won't be long

Because if it's gone for you then I too may lose it, And that would be wrong

I've tried so hard to keep myself from falling

Back into my bad old ways

And it chars my heart to always hear you calling

Calling for the good old days

Because there were no good old days

These are the good old days
