Inseam on APC's about to wear through?

I haven't washed my apc's yet and the inseam is rubbing against itself (right where it's stitched/felled) and is causing major wear marks. they aren't going to cause the jeans to rip, are they? it is worst down by the ankle but up near the knee it is turning white also. i'm thinking about putting drops of water or something along the problem areas of the inseam to soften it up a bit. has anyone had this rip on them before?

mine are also very light and almost worn out at the ankle. I'm just going to repair it, no big deal.
