The SB-800 was recently discontinued so people think they can jack up the price way past retail.

The SB-900, even though a bit bigger, is its successor and brand new is 450$.

The SB-800 brand new before is was discontinued was 350$.

I bought a brand new one yesterday for 300$ shipped.

I do not mean to thread jack but I do not like people jacking up the price on this flash. On any photo forum you would get the same reply.

Thanks for that information, bud. I'm honestly not up on photo gear. I edited my price to reflect the information you gave me. I wasn't trying to swindle. I only knew retail price and what I saw on eBay. Thanks!
