moving to a different city?

I got on a one-way flight to Spain with nothing but the clothes on my back and my guitar to see if I could survive off of my music. Long story short, I made it back to the united states without spending any additional money and it was quite the experience.

yeah, went to tokyo at 19 sorta like that. things went well.

then I went to paris with $200 and stayed for few months.

both good moves. forces you not to be lazy.

do it, overseas would be even better. it'll give you a huge amount of confidence and life experience as well as giving you some great things to look back on in the future.

i'll probably be doing this at the end of the year. dunno where i'mma move doe. but i dunno if i have the huevos to move somewhere where i didn't know atleast 1 person.

i moved to xxx 7 years ago knowing no one. opened a shop knowing no one. brands, artists nothing.

i still live here, have amazing international friends, the shops still strong, and i never look back.

still miss nyc like pure heroin though...

once i graduate from business school next spring, hopefully i'll be on a plane to new york. its truly the place for a 20-25 year old.

inspiration and motivation everywhere. its what i need.

done it a couple times (Seattle, now Denver) and really you just have to be in a position where you can live on next to nothing for at least a short amount of time till you can figure something out.

I love exploring new places and it really forces you to go make something happen.

My fiance and I have been thinking of picking up and moving somewhere like Seattle or Austin, where we wont have the financial restraints of NYC.

It's prob all talk though.
