great great stuff there guys...too bad i don´t have any sparetime left to go out and shoot atm...

anyways, i´ve been asked by a friend if i could shoot their wedding some day in may i believe.

since i´m just taking pics of things i see and like i never really thought about shooting weedings and such things.

is there anything i really need to know/have for such an occasion?

still shooting with a Nikon D5000 +50mm 1.8 and 18-70mm 3.5-4.5...

would be nice if somebody could help me out on this! thx :)

It really depends on where the ceremony/reception is at. You might need faster lenses and cameras that work better in low light.

And a comfortable pair of shoes. I once shot a ten hour wedding in wingtips. Not a good idea haha.

Best of luck!

thanks a lot valdizno but in the end i´ve passed on it, since i think it´s still a bit too much responsibility for me and my shooting skills atm.

since a wedding isn´t something that happens every day i told her to get a pro photographer as "main shooter" and i just would run around as the 2nd shooter...takes a lot of pressure of my chest as well!

so now i´m really looking forward to my first "shooting" if you want to call it that...
