the fabric reminded me of a 15oz samurai denim but half of its roughness and slub the color reminded me of the old 6x6 skull jeans 5010xx denim from way back 2006. the construction well immaculate just like evisu, samurai and flathead.

even on its raw state you can already see the tightly tensioned machines used to sew up these. the puckering on the yoke, also on the backpocket and the hem . i am so happy miki allowed me to do this with him. and i  would liek to thank everyone who supported and bought . i personally will keep a couple of pairs in my vault as to i know this fabric will  take a long time for it to be available again ( wild cotton ). and as  you all know the company that weaved this together is collect.

but if ever  we can do another run i would do denim jackets .

again thank you.

xoxo

i have been way too close and too busy these past few days when these arrived.

i took a pair and put it on my bedside where i can inspect it at a slow pace  in my own time.

going thru each details each stitching while doing nothing , before going to bed and waking up.

the fabric is sooo nice something ive been looking for all these years. nearest would be the evisu no1. but the evisu fabric doesnt breath enough for me its too tightly woven. and the Just enough slub on the fabric to give you tha tslight character to it so when you wear it for the next couple of months you wont get tired or sick of it ( too boring) when you touch and feel it when your bored .

Thanks again for doing this Ed, can't wait to get my hands on the denim. And next time around if you could get Miki-san to make a type two in this denim (like sizes 36 to 46/48) I would be the first one on board!

Oh and I meant to ask, what does the PH stand for on the patch? The Philippines?

Got mine! Denim is nothing like the standard 13.75oz. Ed mentioned they're similar to Samurai's 15oz, to me feels kind of like the old S0505 denim (have to rummage my collection and compare it to the BiG USA model). Unbleached weft gives it almost a grey cast. Love the olive herringbone pocket bags.
