  1. Yesterday
  2. Pardon the quality of the photos. They are screenshots from video. So yesterday around noon my dogs started freaking out. I thought a coyote perhaps, but when I looked out the window here's what I saw... After a moment of disbelief, thinking where did they come from & how did they get here, I went outside to take a look. Apparently I seemed untrustworthy & they wandered off to the far end of our property. Luckily our fences are decent, but they really didn't seem like they wanted to get out. So after making some calls 911, & getting a referral to Animal Control, someone came around & checked the ear tags. Not long after the owner showed up. He asked if I would mind driving his truck & trailer while he went in on horseback to bring them out. Would I mind?? I've been waiting all my life for an adventure like this!! Here's the rancher guiding the cows out to the road. Initially I had thought the plan would be to load them in the trailer right there but apparently cow behaviour requires a more complicated procedure. This consisted of getting the cows onto a neighboring property where there is a corral. The white car contained Mrs CSL, coming home from work btw. On first attempt rather than going to the right, the cows veered off to the left into the wrong gateway which luckily was closed. After this I was instructed to bring the truck ahead of the desired entryway & park in a position that would guide the cows in. The second attempt was successful the three cows were herded a ways back on to that property to a corral. The next operation was to get the cows into a smaller corral & back the trailer up to that gate, accurately so they animals couldn't get tangled in any gaps around the trailer. Once this was done, the rancher shoo'd the cows into the trailer, and then loaded his horse. Then back to Chez CSL to drop me off & we were done. Kinda blew my day but it was a fun adventure & I learned a few things about cows.... And I came home to find my Fullcount 30th anniversary jacket had arrived, so a good day all around. 3. I just noticed that! Bears raised their Fullcount prices like a year or so ago, and it didn't last too long. It seems like an error to me. Their prices in yen are much higher than the Fullcount website.
  4. https://redcastheritage.com/products/fullcount-2102w-13-7oz-type-ii-denim-jacket @andrew_ a bit cheaper than BEARS (I can't believe I just typed that)
  5. Looking for a 2102 jacket in size 42. I was going to order from BEARS, but in the last day they've doubled the price of it - anywhere still offering domestic japanese prices and shipping to the UK?
  6. Don't resist. I timed it perfectly and happened to be at Hinoya in Tokyo when they got their restock. Quickly bought a pair and been wearing them since. What a classic model! I also picked up the overwashed black 1947, great jean for the weekend.
  7. I just washed my 01’s - no idea the amount of wear, but it’s got to be close to 3 months (I first wore them over a year ago). I thought some fades would show more than they did because the creases were really, really set. Nothing much to show right now though. A tiny bit of whiskering, the coin pocket fade is the most visible. I think some creases will move due to more shrinkage? Ultimately this pair is going to get washed a lot, my preference these days, so it’s all good. But yes, it seems a little stubborn.
  8. i'm not feeling the green accents on that shoe at all
  9. I find wants often turn into needs hahaha. But l hear you mate, l'm down for one item per year max over the last 2 or 3 years so buying a jacket and jeans will see me through until 2026 at least!
  10. Great stuff Ben! Fades look great and I agree, that size 42 tee fits you just right. I handled a lot of TFH tees back in the day, THC always felt heaviest but some of the others like the Black Mint tees also felt pretty hefty. I did have some much lighter weight TFH tees but they weren't part of the main recurring lines of T-shirts. I still haven't been to Guilty Party since they started carrying Flat Head, I'll probably stop by once they get another shipment. Still kind of surreal that I can take a short drive to a store that carries Flat Head, never thought I'd see the day.
  11. @beautiful_FrEaK yup pretty stubborn, three months total being the main pair that I’ve been wearing. I’ll throw a different pair into the mix every now and then, but that’s been infrequent. So maybe realistically two months of actual wear.
  12. @Dr_Heech yes the left sewn separately from the right, different denim, and black buckle are only differences Thank you for reminding me the 1942 are a want not a necessary need since I have the 1937 already. Trying to buy less this year haha
  13. That's really some stubborn denim. 3 months wear in total or 3 months par of the rotation?
  14. They are similar but different. They are like bookends. Your 1937 model are at the beginning of the hidden rivets/cinchback era model, whereas the 1942 are at the end of this era model. I think apart from the difference in denim and colour of buckle, it's only the 'left over right' back panels that have a different set up.
  15. Small update on my 03s, a little over three months of wear so far. Aiming for a little more contrast, at least initially. Will likely wear them another month or so before washing.

  18. @bboysparrow My man! All the things bboysparrow stated about me as a seller are easily said about him as a buyer too! Super polite, quick replies, and, most of all, he refunded me the difference in the Paypal fees without me even asking (because apparently it's 5.5% for international payments instead of the usual 4%). If you're dealing with bboysparrow, please rest assured it'll be an awesome experience, doesn't matter if he's the buyer or the seller!! Couldn't have asked for a better first experience here on Sufu 😊
  19. @Sarazan One of the best buying experiences I have ever had. Bought the V91-WS. Insanely quick response, great detail in his messages. He offered to take pics/video of the entire packaging and shipping process at the post office. Shipped super fast. Gave tracking fast. All sellers should be like him.
  20. Did a search and didn't get any hits so pretty sure this hasnt been brought up for discussion before... Looks like MSCHF is doing a collab release with acr... Not really feeling these myself, but have a look and see for yourselves.. like a bizzaro version of the AF1's, done in MSCHF's typical wavy style. https://mschf.com/shop/super-normal-2-acronym-ag
  21. RMC Buco Engineers bought at RMC in Tokyo circa 2019! I haven't worn them an insane amount but adds up over the years especially with east coast weather. Gotta clean 'em up soon but thought I'd post them with all their patina before that. Jeans are RJB D105-14FW
  22. Just came in and may be the best I've had a flat head t fit. 42, one size up from all my old ones. Now I want some more... jeans are RJB D105-14FW, boots are RMC Buco engineers which I'll post in the shoes that look better with age thread
  23. No name vintage engineer/harness boots just arrived. Have bought and sold a few pairs of engineer boots this year because they were either too bulky or too low heeled but found these last week and took a chance. Could do without the zipper but it allows for the elegant slimmer profile and the cowboy heel is a perfect height. The soles need new rubber and the heel caps are brittle but the fit is ace. Great patina too. These might be the ones.
  24. Samurai S0552XX , Type II, size 42 The Flat Head Type III, size 40
  25. I'll never beat you since you have the title of "former FH employee" Have you tried the lighter weight (I think TKT? who the hell knows) tees? Those feel way lighter than the THC with the same nice collar, although I'd prefer the collar have that contrast stitching. I think they're actually loopwheeled too for what it's worth. They feel very light and airy
