Shanghai incoming - designers take Shanghai, looking for guidance on must see sites

there is a group of designers who work for a major international company coming to take the pulse of Shanghai for inspiration and immersion. looking for info about not to be missed art/events/fashion/shopping/dining experiences over the next month or so.

for great info they may even take you with them.

eat lots of soup dumplings (xiao long bao). don't go to the "famous" xxx year old place. Din Tai Feng in Xintiandi has better ones. Eat a lot of shengjian - little lightly fried pork buns.

checked out your other posts - great source of info. the group will only have about 2days (mar 8+9) to really see the city. i'm helping a friend on this so need to check with him before i have more specifics about exactly what they need to see. thanks again for your help.
