Looking to utilize all those years of french i took in school, or at least try to.... But Rountrip Flights in the Summer are $$$$$$! Everything i've seen is like $1500.

Is there a much more frugal way to get to Paris? Maybe Fly to the Nice or Lyon then take a train. Or maybe even flying into more northern countries. Fly to the UK and swim across the channel? anything...so i can spend more money at colette.

Merci pour l'aide.

Handcuff yourself to an inflatable sex doll and pretend you're doing a charity jail break and have to get

as far away from wherever you live in 72 hrs as you can. I remember reading about this granny from

Scotland who did one of those things and ended up in Zimbabwe or something.

if you book early/ get a deal, you can get to Paris for £35 from London on the Eurostar, however the pricing structure seems pretty random at best, and a cheap flight could be a better option.

Or a get a bus, they can be super cheap - sometimes £9-odd each way I think

^thanx for the in fo cue..

This might actually work...looking at flights to London roundtrip seems to be around $800-1000, plus Eurostar from London to paris is around $60 USD....which is much much cheaper than the $1300 straight to paris.

EDIT:Can i as how long it takes between the two places, on rail?

Eurostar says 2.5hrs.

Thanx again...

check out this airline

it's a low fare flying from canada to europe (don't know where you are so it might not be helpfull). it's really cheap, a summer flight might cost you as little as 500$ (i wouldn't count on it now cause it's quite late and many flights are sold out, but i'll be much cheaper than with a regular airline).

you can also try priceline, sometimes you can find pretty good bargain.
