dating back atleast to 90's catwalks..

and further, why is it called catwalk anyway?

Runway slipped my mind. But it was the origin, rather than the definition, of catwalk i was mildly interested about - seldom that is included in dictionarys.

fair enough i guess they have to figure out how to slim those bad boys down. I find that more often than not my merriam-webster gives some clue as to the origin of the word esp if the word isn't a uniquely american-english word.

Well i don't doubt a second that some of them has an explination, how ever i don't have those on my bookshelfs at the moment.

I could be blind, but why on earth doesn't FirstView have ANYTHING on Comme? Or Watanabe, or Yohji (not that i really care), or, or.. ?
