color is a brown right? the material looks interesting, how is the leather's hand?

the pics are pretty true to color, mainly a brown with the bleached spots.

the leather is a sort of heavier roughout. i haven't seen this thing in awhile, so i'm going to run by her apt later to get measurements and that. definitely a nice bag with good construction and enough space as an overnight or as a bigger every day bag.
