hi folks,

i am bustin' tha cherry on this one. i am thinkin' about goin to vancouver and want to do some preliminary research on the 'scene' there. i am wonderin what the top shops are out there. i know of eugene choo and livestock, but having been to van about 5 times i am still not sure if there is an alternative non-organic scene.

you may wanna check El Kartel, it usually draws attention and has some decent product. I think their website is www.elkartle.ca or .com. I also heard Pigeon is decent and check out www.twenty-04.com a company called 24 based out of Vancouver, crazy kicks and some decent gear. Peace

Not to blow anything up, but an ALIFE store is opening here in april.

Headquarter (that's right, not HEADQUARTERS, JUST 'HEADQUARTER') is just ok in my books. I barely put my head through the doors there.

Antisocial is a great pure skate shop and Vital is another skate/snow shop that is going more boutiquey, carrying stuff like SSUR/Rebel Ape and all your SB goodies.

Richie Kidd is for you if you match the name.

Lots of shit is going on here...this town is blowing up pretty quick. Seattle is close, the mountains are here, there are plenty of lovely womenfolk, lots of skate parks...I pretty much love it.
