Can anyone with size 29 or 30 of the S710 post some measurements (especially thigh) post wash after a bit of wear please. I'm wearing s29 in Oni Shoai's and they fit fine now (after a week of pain) but I don't think I could get away with a much slimmer thigh so I don't know if it's best to get s29 or s30 in the S710BK19oz - can anyone help?

my usa's came today, and there was a sticker with them that said, amongst other things, samurai overalls, washed and sanforized. furthermore the measurements matched the post-wash measurements from BiG... i thought these were unwashed?

I'm not worried about whether they are washed or unwashed, but if the pre-soak measurements is the same as the post soak measurments, I'm in trouble.

I'll take a measure of mine, but Gordon was measuring shrinkage down to tagged size on almost all the jeans. Mine were washed and hemmed by him, and I've worn them today, so we'll see.

i cant remember them all, but i do remember the thigh as its my biggest area of concern on most jeans. i have a pair of w30 s710s and post wash the thigh is 11/11.25 and after deliberately trying to stretch them out, the thigh now measures only 11.5", so i think this should help? if youre unsure go with the 30, black is slimming anyways :P

Got my USA's too. I asked that they be OXS'd and hemmed to 34.5. The denim didn't feel like it had been washed, but the inseam measured 34.5, and there was about an inch and a half of material included from where they were hemmed. That's 36, which means they must've been washed afterall.

After I took the fit pics, I put them in the washer for a warm wash and then put them in the dryer. They shrunk down another inch to 33.5. I'll probably send them back to BiG to have them hemmed again to 31 or 31.5.

thanks, my oni's measure 11.5" in the thigh now as well so I think I should go with the 30" then.

How'd you stretch the thigh out? I'm having the same fear with these 210xj's. The thighs are ridiculously tight on those...while the rest of the jean is a bit slimmer than the 110xj's.

i just put them on and kneeled on the ground, then leaned all the way back on my feet as far as i could, so my thighs/calves sort of did a nut cracker type thing you know? i figured that would squeeze my thighs enough to make them stretch some

and if thats not enough, stick your hand in there while kneeling. then stand up and stretch to get a even stretch ;)
