I'm wearing them wherever they end up after they stretch out and settle. The more high end denim I buy the better I get at judging what the fit will be like once it has stretched out, but I'm not tall so I'm hardly ever happy with how it ends up.

I wear mine on the top-of-peen level too, though. I've sagged my jeans ever since I started dressing myself (age 19, I believe). I have very long legs in contrast to my upper body so wearing pants very high looks a bit dorky.
