1) Rainbow Selvage/ or any other colored line selvage available.

2) 14-15oz.

3) Indigo/raw denim color fabric

Also, i would like to know how many yard do i need to make a size 33 jeans?

First off. Have fun trying to find nice Japanese denim in the states. Premium denim outlet has a couple. They are less than desireable and I think they come in at about 12.5 to 13oz. There are some on ebay if you check, but they don't look that great as well.

You will need at least 3yds for a pair of jeans.

Any reason why you want "Japanese" denim. America makes some nice stuff as well.

Guest Selvage Seb.

You might want to have a look here;

www.premiumdenimoutlet.com

Don't have any expierence with them, but it looks not bad

For a pair of selvage denim you need around 3/3,5 meters of fabric..

Anyone who have ordered from them before, please share your expierences

Edit; Didn't noticed your reply rnrswitch, sorry

Stuff like rainbow selvage and gold selvage, etc. are gimmicks. Look at some of the offerings from the two posted websites (premium denim outlet will send free samples), but most denims offered are the same. Buy some yardage and throw together some jeans and learn how to make them. In the meantime keep your eyes open for some opportunities to buy some really nice stuff.

For specialized stuff you are going to have to buy like 1000 yards to even get a supplier to talk to you.

from previous experience with premium denim outlet i find they have cheaper prices but it just took forever for them to reply back to me and get totals and delivery prices. they didnt even finalise the sale and get back to me after a few emails.

i ordered about 50 yards from shuttle loom denim and the person i dealt with replied straight away, even during odd times in the morning when i thought he would be asleep. The fabric was sent out the next day. no worries and very easy to deal with.

then again im in sydney, australia, so not sure if that makes any difference.

i was very happy with the fabric i purchased from shuttleloom denim. however there wasnt much info provided in terms of shrinkage and maintenance. i had to figure it all out myself.

hope this helps
