same here. i feel like everybody came into it with impossible expectations just like when kanye dropped 808s and heartbreaks and weezy dropped carter 3. it's by no means a horrible album. it's not his best but definitely better than 90% of the rap coming out these days.

I've given it 2 listens today and I think it's pretty good. Not really murderous/clever, but still has good flow.

A guest verse from Nas on Empire State Of Mind would had been dope, but Alicia fucking kills the hook.

It's too bad we wont hear the normal Jay anymore. Now that hes been getting "txt messages from Obama", he now sounds like he runs the map, which is somewhat true I guess.
