ahem, there is nothing average about Pendleton or Woolrich. Both brands have been around for decades and still produce very high quality garmets. That said, Brando could wear a potato sack and look good. I have a red and black version of said jacket from the 50s with an original Conmar zipper and it is holding up very nicely.

Didn't mean to knock the brands - it's hard to beat a track record like theirs. Not many people here would wear a hunting jacket like in the pic because it's not a very urban look, but personally I like them. My point was that you wouldn't have to look very far or hard to find a similarly styled piece.

I really dont think that jacket is a woolrich or pendleton, I think that's assuming a lot. That being said I have seen very similar ones by pendleton, however nothing that is really that similar to this design. I don't even know if these jackets are considered hunting jackets just cause they are wool checked, I've heard the term boxcar jacket in this context. Furthermore the jacket does not have a conmar zipper.
