We started out with the basics: onion rings, crispy fries, waffles fries, chicken finger.... then things started to go south.

We ended up deep frying, of what I can remember, an eggo waffle (best decision ever), an apricot, mike and ikes, smarties, do-si-dos (girl scout cookie), biscotti, hello panda cookies....

Funnel Cakes are the best thing to make in the deep fryer. You can make your own strange shapes when you pour the batter, and it's really easy, and really yummy.

The eggo waffle actually tasted similar to a funnel cake, pour some strawberries and powdered sugar on that.....yo

ALright, hammered already, it's past 11 here so close enough... this time I had to pull out all the stops so lak doesn't beat me again..

Anyhow, had been thinking on the theme, beef, and realized I have two above-all favorite ways one enjoying it, those being burgers and pho. So naturally, I decided to combine the two, and make the world's first Pho Burger. (sup poly800rock)

made myself some thit nuong (vietnamese grilled pork) tacos.

first i marinated the pork butt for 1 day. pork butt is really good because there is a lot of fat (but not too much) and it won't dry out. added a bunch of chili oil and chilies because i like it hot

there are recipies online, i got mine on the web, next up is grilling. real hot

random shrimp on there for good measure.

after about 15 minutes and it's charred nice on the outside

toss some green onion, sliced carrots, and sliced papaya.

was actually really really good. will do this again for sure.

think next time i'll toss some rice noodles in there for good measure.
