my feet get hella swampy in my achilles even when it's not that hot. i'll be wearing espadrilles when shorts weather hits. still looking for cheap white beater sneakers. I'm thinking superga or feiyue.

+1 for 飛越 ^. their shoes sold in europe and asia are produced in different factories, btw, and are vastly different in quality and price. so if you plan to buy 飛越 from china but expect the european 飛越 quality, that won't be the case.

I just grabbed some Bobbie Burns canvas/suede ones from oak. Think they're around $70... Really like them too. Same thing happens with my achilles, totally swamped.

shitty pictures, look pretty good in person. Only thing I didnt like was a tag thats sewn on the heel of the insole.. when I wear them without socks the tag annoys the fuck out of me. Ended up de-stitching it and they're perfect now.
