yeah but mothers curtains didnt have overlapping seams and darts and layers of fabric on their skirts and proportions like whoa

i doubt his thought process was hmmmmm i got these wicked patterns right here, now what are the worst possible fabrics i could use

^ true. the fabrics he uses are always really amazing in quality and they often also are really beautiful in texture. the onnnllllyyy thing I have to say bad is I am missing the trousers because he makes, hands down, some of the best trousers out there. the whole collection is really lovely, though.
