Heading to LA - what spots to check out?

Hey guys,

I'm heading to LA for spring break and was wondering what spots to check out and where? Help me plan one of my days! It will be greatly appreciated! =)

hit up Phillipes for lunch one day, its been featured in tv shows and stuff, old french dip place, bomb food, and some LA history. I only mention that cause its my favorite place in LA.

Hit up beaches, bars, art museums, Disneyland? I dont know, theres not much to do.

It all depends on how much time you have. Amoeba music is always worth the trip. Fairfax/ Farmer's Market area maybe. It really depends on what kind of stuff you're into.

1) I love food, cooking, so the farmer's market sounds really sweet!

2) Shopping, sneakers, clubbing, good chinese food (not take out), touring, pretty much anything fun. I'm gonna be there for 8 days.

For a decent priced asian fusion place...if you go to Melrose Area Buddahs Belly is mad decent. off of Beverly i think.

Beverly and Hauser for buddha's belly. In general there isn't a ton of great chinese food out here though.

btw apparently the hypercool thing to do in la at this moment is queue for hours at a korean taco truck - www.kogibbq.com

food: sushi mac, mandarette, dupars, kitchen24, cactus, korean BBQ in any strip mall in ktown

shopping: melrose, fairfax, american rag, jetrag, wasteland

"club" (I hate that word): teddys, bardot, temporary spaces, delux, foxtail, hyde. first two spots are the best
