does anyone snowboard in NYC?

i was wondering if there were anyone who snowboards and has any info on trips being planned by shops, etc. this year.. or, if you need someone to chip in on a rented car.

isn't there a bus that goes up to killington or vermont from NYC? i could've sworn my former-NYC friends used to do that to board on the weekends.

last winter sucked ass on the east coast and i'm iffy on snow this season.

can't wait to go since only went once last year.

they have decent bus trips from pipedreams on the upper east side, the only place that goes to vermont (and hunter,and jersey spots). nothings up on their site yet. . .newyorkpipedreams.com

Paragon Sports in Union Sq have daily bus trips to Hunter...when I don't have access to a car I sometimes take the bus...leave early morning (around 6am) get back around the same time...

sticykrylon, i have a few friends who live in the city and like to ride. i'm gonna try to do a bus trip early december. . .if the weather doesn't suck. wish i had wheels but at least bus trips make sure you get a whole day in.
