Altering Jeans.

I have a pair or "rigid" Club Monaco jeans and they are baggier than I would like them to be. Is it possible for me to get them altered to the slimness of say, Dior jeans, or will the proportions be off. How much would you expect a job to cost, if possible?

you can have the legs altered easily for like ten bucks, but the ass would be harder or more expensive to change. the ass might never look good, because you'd also need to move the pockets etc.

I think it's not worth the money to alter the slimness. At that rate, you might as well just buy a new pair of jeans that fits exactly as you like it.

Yep, better off searching for new jeans than altering. Too much of a hassle. What you need to do is just try on a million pairs of jeans one day and purchase something that fits perfect to begin with.

They were so cheap, and it should be about 15 dollars to change the slimness at "Stich-It". I figure I will try it out.

yes but that wont ber the only alteration that you need to make....your gonna have to re do the whole seat of the pants because the lines will not match the legs.....

jus take them to the tailor and say i want the legs tapered. theyll know what u mean.. put the jeans on theyll chalk em up how much u want em 2 taper and ur done pick em up the next day

yeah but .. tapering is much easier .. and slims down the bottom of the jeans.. works just as well i feel.

Yeah but if you have tapered ankles and wide thighs, then your legs look like turkey drumsticks, and that's gonna look pretty bad.

I say the best option is just find a new pair of jeans that's as slim as you prefer... Acne Max, perhaps?

peeps are right in saying its gonna cost a bit to adjust the seat/butt of your jeans.. but you could stil slim the legs down and wear them low.. with a super low crotch.. i dig that.. wear some of mine like it.. ive even bought jeans with a long rise just to do that with.. it works well with some shirts n stuff..
