Coming as it did at the end of the show, it was a reminder (hardly necessary) that Dolce & Gabbana has a substantial jeans business. But in case anyone had missed that point, this would have made it clear. Denim in its manifold manifestations dominated the proceedings, in bombers, short shorts, jams, and every conceivable variation on a waistband for the jeans themselves. And what goes best with jeans? Well, there were leather bombers, rugby shirts in funky color variations, polos, hoodies, and a very smart line of trainers. For when denim wasn't enough, there were cuffed chinos—in case you're feeling a little bit James Dean.

You know what though, the thing is I think the models here look no more idiotic than from any Raf Simons collection or whatever. It's models, man. I know kind of never shut up about this but I hate these pouty, pubis-showing doofuses. I think the real reason I like looking at Yohji runway stuff is because they're at least modeled by people who look like they've used public transit.
