i will post more pics of my KING once I get my new camera. they are a looser jean, a little looser than i wanted but I still like them. The denim is really great.

They aren't that worn at the bottom, they just photographed that way. They got that way from having them drag with my vans slipons. I have worn them every day since 2/13. I like to tease my creases a little and I wipe my hands on my jeans a lot.

mine are different too.

they have a box saying style waist and leg. the writing is done in black and is quite small.

serge - did you soak yours before wearing?

I got my brother to get into a pair of imperials the other day, the dukes in a size 36

They are just soooooooooooo damn nice!

Im sitting here and my nudies are great, but im thinking up ways i can speeed up my wear, so i can get myself into a pair of dukes !

Ill post some pictures of him in the next few days, he is going to get them taken up.

Im still not sure what they were thinking with a length of 36" though?

34" is more then enough for any man....

I was wondering if anyone had any info on when Imperial will be getting a Melbourne stockist. I just sent them an email but I hear that they're notoriously hard to get a reply out of. Any info would be appreciated.

doke you probably already know but raw denim shrinks when first washed so thats why APC and imperial tend to make raw jeans longer.

Colin, don't bother. The smallest size they have is 30, and that was kinda big on me, and you're like 30x skinnier than I am.

i'm a 30 or 31 in nudie RRDS, what size would you guys recommend for the KINGS to get a similar fit on the legs? i was thinking 31, since they mention that their jeans are very true to size. but how would the legs fit?

chadler... I'm the same size as you, and I'm probably gonna get the 32W based on what people are saying in this thread. I think Imperial only does even waist sizes since I haven't read anyone here mention an odd waist size.

Can anyone tell me what the leg cut of those Imperial Kings is like - is it true that they do have a slight boot cut?

Yes, the ankle is about 1cm wider than the knee. it isn't very noticeable, but you can kind of tell...especially if you have small shoes.

the leg is kind of loose/baggy. the ankle opening kind of accentuates it a bit. i wish it was a little slimmer, similar to apc rescue, but i still like them.
