KMW or Flathead?

If you want fades, KMWs aren't even in the contest. They simply won't fade, especially compared to flathead denim. However, the fit, construction, and durability on my 1980s is ridiculously great. The details on them are extremely nice. I have a broken in pair of those.

Right now, I'm working on a pair of flatheads so I'll have to get back to you for a more objective comparison.

You might get some hostility for making a junk thread, probably get better answers there.

*fade well(duh)

*great construction

*great fit(imo of course)

*durable(the poly/cotton doesnt hurt at all)

Although the fit is great, the construction is really poor, and they're far from durable. Mine needed repairing after 6 months and have now fallen out of my rotation. I say go with something thats going to fade nicely over a few years - don't go for the quick fix!

yes, to all those who said kmw fade slow, absolutely right!

i have kmw rockers in one wash and they are the most stubborn pair of jeans i have come by. i think its the combination of being rope dyed with natural indigo.

apart from that, they are excellent quality and filled with little details all over the place.

so its really ur preference, however, the rockers to me, don't fit skinny at all, i was trying to achieve the look on context, could have sized down one. if u get true to size, fits more like slim apc ns, or jr california fit.
