How do clothing companies get their own New Era Fitteds?

Hey guys!

Just want to ask anyone professional or an expert on how clothing companies get their new era fitted that be able to design them. For example, clothing company such as The Hundreds or Kicks/Hi, Huf, etc.,etc. Do companies like them just buy blank fitteds and design them themselves?

Any help is appreciated as I would like to work on a small project producing some fitteds. I am out in the market looking for a blue + yellow brim fitted.

u think they just go to "lids" and have shit embroidered on the spot?

i'm pretty sure they contact and work with new era.
