Crepe Soled Shoes/Boots

So what's the deal w/ these? We all know they're on Wallees nad have seen those CCP boots, but are shoes w/ Crepe Soles really comfortable?

I've contemplated getting some, but just not sure. do they wear down crazy fast or are they still durable?

I guess if they're good enough for Ghostface, they may be good enough for me.

What can be more comfortable than a crepe sole?

Cheese blintz sole is the only acceptable answer.

I own the crepe-soled slip-ons. Had I paid full price I'd be a little pissed. Cheap construction and cheaper leather.

I have, on the other hand, been very happy with every pair of Clarks I've owned. With regards to how crepe wears, I think the soles on my RW 875 wore down quicker than the crepe on my Clarks (however, I do very different things in each respective shoe -- apples and oranges).
