Two-Face + someone

I wish it was Black Mask, since he's really fucked up and hilarious, but he's kinda a major villain and deserves his own flick. Probably will be a minor villain...hopefully not Clayface, Bane, Calender Man, Croc etc. None of dat shit. Catwoman wouldn't work in this series. Riddler and Mr. Freeze would be too campy. Maybe The Penguin.......ugggggh.

I voted for Two-Face. :)

I would've thought that Scarecrow and the Joker and Two-Face would've been a little too silly as well, based on the old renderings of them...I think Bane could be a really viable (and freaky) villain in Nolan's hands...if anyone's ever read some of the Batman graphic novels, he's certainly among the darker characters.

The audience would probably love Bane too, since he was one of the "newer" Bat villains and emerged during the comic book speculation era.

I could see Nolan going "The Long Halloween" route and having Two-Face go after every fuqqing crime boss while a minor mystery murderer, Holiday, eliminates them.

damn. dat b true.

clopek, some good reads are:

year one, long halloween, dark victory, haunted knight, a death in the family, killing joke, hush, dark knight returns (even though I hate frank miller's later batman)

...in that order.

If you're into Bane and shit, there's always 90's comics like Knightfall. No Man's Land took up a chunk of the timeline.

Am I the only one who liked the Batman:Murderer/Fugitive arc? I thought it was good prior reading before Hush

i see bane working if they keep his size reasonable and make him an absolutely batshit crazy killer..

ventriloquist/scarface would be fun too...

but he wasn't batshit crazy :(

he was a cold calculating killer who just happened to be addicted to magic steroids...

Anyway, I still think they should run with the batman outlaw thing and Nolan should interpret Dark Knight Returns into a movie. minus superman and green arrow and cold war. just pure epic awesome.

I've never read a Batman comic other than this 10¢ Adventure jawn I have.

what stories are worth copping in TPB form?

some good reads are:

if you wanna get into batman right now, the r.i.p. series is going on. bruce wayne will no longer be batman. i hate grant morryeatdick :( he better not make jason todd the next batman.

I feel like Pengium, Freeze, and Ivy are too "pulp comic book" now that they've firmly planted the movie Batman universe in a much more realistic world. Can Catwoman really hold up as the main villain on her own. Plus she's really only a jewel thief with no threat against the general public, especially since they raised the stakes so much with Dark Knight.

What about Victor Zsasz? He might be even less known than Hush though.

that's the common argument against having Catwoman in there. She wouldn't do anything on the scale of Joker and she would be shoehorned into the role of love interest. too predictable.

Zsasz had a cameo in batman begins actually, during the asylum escape scene, and is in the attempted Rachel rape scene.
