Tacoma/Seattle job market??

I am moving out to the Tacoma/Seattle area in May/June 2006, anybody out there have any advice/info on the job market out there??

I am looking for something with an apparel manufacturer, design house, shoe companies, anything fashion related......

well.. if you were looking for tech jobs.. this would be the right place to be.. the market is pretty hot right now in the tech space..

not too familiar with the apparel market..

but seattle in general is a great place to be living.. I spent time living in both new york and sf.. and though i loved new york.. seattle is definately a great place.. though when it comes to shopping.. we may fall a little behind..

I lived in seattle for 1 year with my uncle's family, my uncle moved from cali to seattle because he got hired by BOEING, so yeah, if you are looking for tech job like Microsoft, then it is definately a good place.

I'm a comp sci major, but I like cali better, and hopefully i can find a job in san jose.
