Might actually be styrofoam. I dug graves for five years and babies -- especially if they are buried within 24 hours -- are often burried in a sort of industrial-grade styrofoam coffin.

Doesn't anyone notice the way the parents are dressed at the funeral? It's horrible, even when they weren't at a funeral it would be bad though.
