I bought mine in January and have been wearing them about 3 times a week. Hot soaked initially and then just hot soaked again a few days ago. Really not much fading, but the denim is REALLY slubby and soft. I don't know how much wear these will get until summer since I just bought the SExDBxS09 jeans

Some arbitrary comparison between the cuts:

If you like low-rise, go for the SExDB. The jean's rise fits like no other that I own. If you're used to sizing according to your waist, go for the Canes.

Some definite comparison between the denim:

If you are not a fan of slubby denim, forget about the Canes. The texture of the Canes is very unique, and I presume it's going to be really good for the summer. The DBones' denim is very good, fades fast, sheen, not hairy after soaking.

Both are incredible with details. I'd say break your bank and buy both. I personally won't miss any SE collab.

Most people have reported some serious shrinkage on these... If you could only button up the first two buttons presoak, I'd imagine that they'd be nearly impossible to get into postsoak... Definitely get into them while they're still damp to stretch out the waist if you want any chance of getting into them, although even the thought of this sounds painful.

How'd you size them anyway?

houllier - There is no way those are going to fit you after a soak, unless you wear them when wet to stretch them back out. I purchased mine LOOSE is the waist and after a hot soak and dry they were very tight, they shrunk about 3" in the waist. Even without a hot dry I would guess yours are going to shrink about 2" in the waist unless you wear them when wet. As PeterParker said, I would suggest putting them on NOW if you ever plan on wearing them again. Good luck.

anyway all buttoned up now, can be done guys lol, from 2buttons presoak to all buttons post soak.

but its hell of torture on waist, hope it expands out nicely.

You obviously were not trying hard enough the first time around.

You should get very reasonable stretching I'd say mine got back about 2 inches in the waist

Please post fit pics and info on sizing. After your description of getting them on, I'm curious as to how tight they actually fit. I'm also wondering how you still have circulation to your legs.

Restock? I thought all SE collabs were one-offs (i.e. no restocks). You could try other retailers if they're out at Self Edge; I know Atsui Tokyo and Farinelli's carry the SExSC06.

I thought it was more like some are, some aren't. I figured that SE having stock of these for so long meant that they must've restocked somewhere along the line, no?
