Any thoughts on Levi's 514?

Looking to pick up a pair of cheap, slim black jeans. Does anyone have these? If so, how is the fit? Also for those who have seen or have a black pair, what shade of black is it? It's kind of hard to tell on Levi's site. Thanks in advance.

i have a pair of these in the dark blue 'oil wash'...i think it's a great jean for $40. i'm surprised more folks dont jump on these if they want a really slim jean. the legs are slim and straight (mine measure 8" at knee, 7.5" at hem) and the rise is very low (about 8"). since the denims are washed it is very soft and comfortable. i've seen the black and they look good, it's a bit on the slightly grey shade of black, like a 98% black. one thing is the sizing, i generally wear 32 and i had to buy a 30 (they run 2 sizes large)
