sorry for no updates for the last few days. There has been a typhoon so I did not go out at all.

But yesterday my dad took us to the harley davidson flagship store:

Went to a local department store later and saw some interesting sculpture

So later that day mom took my older brother and his wife, and my little brother to this French place called Madam Rose to have some dinner. The VIP room has some next level interior:

all the couches are handmade

The VIP area also displays the owner's tea set collections, and some are available for sale (fyi the price is in TWD, 1USD=32TWD)

omg ive been to that harley davidson store! my uncle bought one too--apparently its what rich people in taiwan do, buy harleys. he had us buy him a harley helmet here in texas, and my mom and i dressed in normal human clothes looked so ridiculous in the throngs of leather vest wearing bikers, and when we told them that in taiwan harleys are like bmws, they laughed.

I went back to Vancouver and just got back to montreal last night. My schedule changed cuz there was a typhoon in Taiwan so I went back to Van early..and I was stealing ppl's internet in Van so it was too slow to upload pic. I did take more pictures however during the last few MIA days.

Dance Rock Taipei night!

Taiwan Beer. The go-to beer in Taiwan. 5% and $2. It tastes really light and slightly sweet. But under this kind of weather it goes warm in like 3 mins

This is the centre of the indie scene in Taipei

So Chic, a local dance-rock band. kinda sounds like Karen O meets Klaxons. But maybe not as good

Clash The Disco Kids. They are dubbed as the Bloody Beetroots of Japan. But I don't think they are at that level where European DJs at. Cool to see Dj-ing with no laptop tho.

F Dragon, a Taiwanese DJ. He's not bad

Days right before leaving..

here's about where i live

then i went to this area with friends. Ximending, dubbed as the harajuku of taiwan. Im sure harajuku is way better tho. Here you can find weird street performers, cheap clothing, some streetwear shops in the alley, 14yr old taiwanese school girls, creepy old guys, yummy food, arcade..etc basically everything.

i went to this lingerie store with my friend and she did a candid camera.

i do look creepy
