That looks pretty fake. There are a few notorious brown recluse fakes, notably the one already posted. the wound is real, but its photoshopped to look bigger than it really is IIRC.

I was going to mention Dan's Gallery of The Grotesque. Anyone remember that? It was my first introduction to this sort of nastyness and made me uncomfortable.
