those look pretty tight. when i bought my weirdguys i think i couldn't do up the top button of the 29s, but they were also super tight all over, so i went with a 30 which i could button up. i'm sure they've stretched out a little since then but they aren't too big for my liking.

i heard some people say they've experienced stretching around 1-2 inches.

i guess too it depends on how you like to wear them. if you like your jeans tight then go tight. if not then go a size up.

Well curently I can't button up any of them which sucks if I was able to get all of them but the top I'd consider it. I read too that people have gotten up to 2" in stretch that's why I got the 30 bc I figured with stretch the 31 would be far to big in the waste. I'm not exactly sure if I measured the waist right on these but it comes to a 31" BIG listed it as a 32" which again is probably why they don't fit. I wanna keep them and try to stretch them but they do kind of feel to tight and could possibly remain tight after stretching happens. I have 7 days to return them so I'll think it over.

I'll be exhanging them for the Green Selvage if I do return them.

so here are my weird guy deep indigo at 1 week

size 33. sized down 1 from my natural waist...they're a bit shorter than i'd like but i'm 6'5" so I have to deal.

hope to get about 9 months out of them...cold MPLS winter arriving quickly.

@chrisb if you can't button ANY of the buttons up i would definitely size up. if it were just the top button you couldn't do up then i would keep them but it sounds like you should size up. hopefully one will be enough.

@-Z- those look great on you. i find weirdguys are tough to pull off well. seems like you were well proportioned for them. and you know what? once the stacks settle i think it will look perfect.

and for those of you who care about my quest for a top button replacement.. i went back to sydney's and they put one on for me. sha-wing!

Well i based the size off the measurements of the two pair of nudies i have both which have a waist of about 33-33.5 and the waist is big on me. The BIG measurements for the 30 is a 32 waist so i figured it would fit may be snug at first but with the stretching should end up fitting me quite nice. All the measurements on the BIG site seem to be off about an .5"-1" the leg opening was said to be 7.5 and mines 7 the waist was 32 mines 31 and i think even the inseam was off alittle too.

I think sizing up one should be fine but im just gunna go to BIG instead of ordering online again. I just did it to get them before they were sold out but it didnt matter anyway.

the weirdguys probably sit lower on the hips than your nudies do since their rise is lower. which means it's sitting on a wider part of your body.

Yea thats what i figured out when trying them on they do sit lower than either of my nudies

i have a brand spankin new pair of size 31 weird guys in the deep indigo color that i need to take off my hands.

they have never been worn out of the house and have been collecting dust bc i thought i could lose enough weight to fit into them - turns out i lost more weight than i though i needed too, haha.

Or the fact that on top of sitting lower it's 21 oz denim. that denim doesn't feel like it'd stretch much either.

Hey everyone new to the forum. I had a few questions regarding N&F jeans.

I have one pair of weirdguys indigo sz30 that i really like. I was looking into getting a new pair or two.

has anyone had any exp with the cashmere denim pair? does it feel that great? and can I expect the same amount of stretching (~1.5") as my weirdguys?

the skinnyguy silks also caught my eye but I'm not looking for a skin tight look. would possibly sizing up 1 on these look decent without being sloppy?

one more... when they say greycast (lightweights) or indigocast (green weirds) what exactly does that mean?

i'd appreciate any help. thanks!

^ i believe "cast" means it has that shade. the green weirdguys are dyed green over blue thread so it supposedly fades blue. When you look at it too you can see a bluish tint to the green.

Same thing goes for the lightweight. it has a grey "shade" to it. if it were all blue it would look slightly different.

anyone correct me if i'm wrong. and i don't have experience with sizing up on the skinnies (i actually bought ones that were super tight and now they're too tight since my legs got bigger... ) and i have never worn the cashmeres.

The skinnyguys aren't skintight unless you size down.

This is how a pair of indigo revival (non-stretch) skinnyguys worn true to size (30) look.

All the other skinnyguy models are stretch denim which will effect the way they fit, but this gives you an idea of what they're like.

if you don't size down on skinnyguys they're pretty baggy. i find even weirdguy wider, especially at leg opening

hey everyone. i bought my first pair of raws this month and got the weird guys indigo.

been wearing it somewhat regularly...no fades or anything yet. will post pics when they start coming.

i got a size 29 and the waist is a bit loose right now when i wear it at the right height (at my waist).
