the ribbing at the bottom looks substantial enough to sit snugly where positioned on the ankles regardless of height, isn't this true?

or is your point that on shorter people, the pants bunch up and look too baggy at the lower leg?

i have these too, i think they would be to long for him. if they bunch up the zippers stick way out and look silly
