opinions on an everyday watch to buy.

haven't worn a watch for close to seven years and i'm really just looking for a watch for daily wear. i was thinking of purchasing the nixon rotolog, but wanted to see what else is out there. and hey, if anyone has the rotolog, or any other nixon watch...any thoughts on the quality?

yeah, the rotolog kinda seems like a whole lotta hype right now. but i have to admit, i dig the walnut inlay. maybe i should wait for two years after it's not cool and go hunting on ebay...

not too concerned about it not being waterproof...don't think i've ever taken a watch into the water...waterproof or not.

If budget is no concern, mmay is suggest this:

It's a Panerai 194G Special Edition Submersible in a 47mm case. Otherwise known as the Subzilla! Voted as the best diver's watch of 2004. Tag Price is $8,750

Otherwise, this is my next pick:

It will tell perfect time and at $60, you can't go wrong!

that marathon watch is fucking cool man. think i may have to buy one. it's a manual wind, so in case of a nuke attack the watch will still be working. icon_smile_big.gif
