yo jb, if you're still interested in the _7 tall engineer boots blackbird has them in your size. best Julius boots ever, not buying another pair period.

even though DJI has the taller model than me i 100% totally agree. most comfortable boots ive owned. simple, elegant, goth ninja and the supplest leather.

really like the FW07 model you have and the taller FW06 backzips, but love how much cleaner the sidezips look without the front strap. so so comfortable and the leather is incredibly supple.

for some reason DJI mine arnt as high as yours or the ones you pictured. i still like them but im digging the lack of front strap. however, im not fussed and i doubt id bother trying to sell mine to cop the non strap ones. i only payed 35000YEN for mine originally anyway so i got em cheap.

yeah the ones you got were from FW07 I believe, don't have pics saved though. great price, definitely don't sell them if you're happy with them as they're beautiful boots.

cant think of any western sotckists that still have it. you should check out the japanese stockists, some of the stock quite heavily, and those would be heavily discounted if not sold out. should've copped form selks/bt!

nah they don't 50, although the current tall ones can be folded down. the slim zip up engineer boots that yurius have made are:

- FW06 tall back zip (sanded calf)

- SS07 short back zip (calf leather)

- FW07 medium back zip (sanded calf)

- SS09/FW09 tall side zip (sanded calf)

you could always get a cobbler to cut them haha. personally I think the style looks best cut tall, same as with the guidi zip up boots. they aren't overwhelmingly tall (runway shots: 1, 2, 3), even on a shorter guy like me.

yeah I guess after looking through the runway shots they aren't so tall afterall. still next level though. I might try the buttero AW09 back-zips first (if I can find any in my size) and see how they work out.

the leather buttero uses doesn't even compare, unless you can get them cheap (under $400 USD shipped) I'd pass on them and put the money towards something better man.
