Good idea for a thread, hopefully we can add some wear pictures in there when there ir something good :P

Anyway, I've gotta think about this a bit too. All Japanese made KMW are Natural Indigo. For 45RPM, there is also the Aihiko.

There's also these Oni's: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=3391&category_id=&manufacturer_id=8&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28

Can anyone give me a translation on:

本藍デニム/和魂藍 三十回染め(Real Indigo)

I think they're natural indigo, but not sure. The line starts with Hon-Ai, that Chicken said means "real indigo" but I've got no clue if that means natural.

From: http://www.heddielovu.jp/cgi-bin/cart/search.cgi?file=C_mahogany

Also, I know Evisu and others must have done some natural indigo, and apparently Warehouse did in the distant past. If anyone has links, I'd appreciate the help.

a new run of the Oni Shoai is in the works... I've seen a sample of the natural indigo that they're planning on using. It looks amazing as expected and seems to be a bit darker then the first run.

I know!!! I remember when Gordon showed me the org. Shoai's b4 they came out but couldn't pull the trigger due to funds.

Is there going to be any other differences with the new Shoai's other than the darker color?

yes. i just got word from gordon. he basically said that they will be heavier, slubbier, darker, and more expensive.

edit: no word on a production date though.

Oni-Shoai 2.0.....more SuFu than the original!

Also, number 1 on my list until I acquire them.

I'm sorry, but when mass-produced jeans approach the price for a pair of bespoke trousers from one of the greatest living artisans (Ambrosi), it's ridiculous. I'd love a pair of super slubby, slow-fading natural indigo jeans, but not at those prices. If they were at least MTM like the strongholds, maybe something would change, but I dunno.

It's why I probably will never have a pair of Jomons as well. But, I'm poor, so I'm not the target audience.
