Thanks! Some of these designs are out there, but I think some are respectable and wearable. Fashion design is about pushing the envelope and that is what I like to do. they are different and that is what fashion is all about. yes, the purpose is to cut a shape in the tie to allow the color of the shirt to show producing a 3-dimensional look with depth . You can see a box shape in the tie with the color of the shirt showing the tie in 3-D. thanks eric
