Pace Orginal Blue Indigo/indigo

Im really curious about these, and wonder if anyone have experience. Kinda cool for a swedish label to do something like this, which ive only seen 45rpm and pbj (right? i really dont know) done before.

Are these overdyed or are the warp and weft dyed separatly before weaving? Seems like the selvage is undyed, but kinda hard to see from these pics..

Id guess from the selvdge that they are not overdyed, how'd they keep the selvedge white?

I dont know anything about PACE, however HJJ does, he posted on his blog about em. He also mentioned Warehouse making a, indigoXindigo jean....

EDIT- could be a kinda twill, canvas fabric??? Just looks kinda smooth n shiny at first glance.

^^the selvage might be a might blueish, but I guess it should be a lot bluer if overdyed. If they really are indigoxindigo i might be tempted.. Pace is nice otherwise, cool quality for the price.

doesn't look like it's been garment-dyed after construction. any notes about their manufacture, etc?

the selvedge is prolly tinted from a wash after the jeans were made...

theyre definitely not overdyed.

i really like that colour....it gives the appearance of a casual trouser more than jeans. i think they would look a heap better with darker stitching though, black preferably. the lighter blue tone really lets them down.

Well...in my opinion, outside Japan, Pace makes the nicest jeans there is. Construction, details, denim and cut.
