Sleeves and shoulder fit makes me think you could go a size down. Revolve does free returns/exchanges so you may as well try

I'm going to take it to a tailor as well. Probably get the sleeves shortened slightly and the sides taken in a bit so it fits me like it fits the model in the revolve picture.

What do you mean when you say the armhole doesn't move quite right?

Well, it hits me great in the shoulders, but the armhole is a bit big and I don't fill it up quite perfectly. So when I move, the armhole kind of just yanks the rest of the coat with it. I don't know how to perfectly explain it, but I'm definitely taking this baby in on the sides as well. It's nice, but a more tailored silhouette will fit the look a lot better.

P.S. Here is a shitty photo of me in it. I slouch and I'm drunk. So those are my excuses.

The coat does look good open. I ended up ordering it in a L from revolve. I'm going to keep the XL until the L gets here just to be safe. I think I understand what you mean about the armhole. Sort of like your shoulder catches on the opening and makes the coat pull in that area...?

I tried on the peacoat today and I thought the material seemed very thin. I'm not sure if it isn't meant to be a heavy jacket or not but it really didn't seem like it would keep you warm like a peacoat should. I'm tempted to order from Revolve but I think I'll hold out for something else. Does anyone else have a recommendation for a cropped peacoat?

On another note...I tried on the "Flannel Check Plaid Shirt" and it fit slim. I'd definitely recommend sizing up on it as well...not too sure how I feel about construction but coming previously from H&M, it definitely is a step above (along with the price tag).
