not sure if they're blowin up too much, hell i don't even know how i stumbled on them. i think the whole screamo/skramz shit is having a revival right now, but that's just my opinion. there's a huge little scene in the peninsula already (redwood city/belmont up to SF), and it's only getting bigger.

if i have to talk about the metal all i'm gonna say is genghis tron for the cybergrind and hate all you want but number 12 looks like you is tits for mathcore.

More of a metal influence in both the vocals and guitars though... at first they sound like a total rip but the more you listen the more you hear the differences.

If you ask me the new EP kicks the ass of the last 3 Envy EP/splits, and that's coming from the biggest dribbling Envy worshipper ever.

I think the first heaven in her arms ep is their beat, the lp was decent but not enough like long pretty parts, and the new ep is good and all, but by no means are they near envy level, more like a less creative envy possibly.

Which EP? There's two EPs, a 5 track one which is pretty wank and the 3 track one which has different recordings of the LP songs on it. Plus there's a couple of splits which I'm missing.

Not saying they've touched A Dead Sinking Story (which should be noted was 11 years into their career) but the new EP is a much more solid, well-concieved piece of work than Envy's recent efforts in my opinion. Plus they're presently filling that massive void left by old Envy/Funeral Diner etc, which is good by me.

Just hoping now that Envy come along and release a mindbogglingly good new LP sooner rather than later (and play here again).
