I agree that it was average, acting was pretty good but the story just didn't work for me. Also a bit too long.

I also spoke to some people that love westerns and they told me that the story is way off and that cowboys would never do this or that. I had no idea what they were talking about since I'm not on top of cowboy terminology but I heard that opinion from few sources.

I went and saw "Once upon a time in the west" in rep at the riverside a couple years

ago. I knew the movie inside out but it still blew my mind how awesome it looked up

on the big screen. The scale made every moment into a completely different film.

it also can be a cropped version of a confederate senior officer's long jacket (but why would it be leather?)...because those are the only ones i've seen simple and light in color that have the two columns of buttons that converge to the center.

i like this movie coz the characters are much more in the vein of Butch Cassidey and the Sundance Kid but with the unrealistic (but also unbelievably good) action scenes. the movie was good... but when you reflect on it you'll see how the characters are unrealistically stupid about a lot of things surrounding the transport of a supposedly notorious robber and mass murderer or just common sense stuff (e.g. don't build a big camp fire in the middle of violent apache country?).

and, really, i didn't think Charlie Prince was gay.

RIGHT ON THE MONEY. The movie is too dope, and Ben Foster plays the raging psycho so well. He was good in Alpha Dog, too. And that leather jacket was the fucking tits. Go see this movie, it grabs you from start to finish.
