Black Denim?

Can anybody recommend a nice pair of black denim jeans, cut similar to Levi's 507 or Diesel's Kuratt? The only black denim I've seen so far has been made by one of the urban companies, Ecko, Rocawear, etc.

Anyway, help me out froggies.

Nudie makes Slim Jim in black (dry denim, too) and they just released a Regular Ralf in black denim. (With black stitching too.)

I think just about everyone is pushing a black or greyish black denim.

At least all the vendors I carry were pushing black.

I had those black soft rigids a year ago. There were good, but I wore them every day to work and ripped the crotch area. Do they still sell 'em?

some magazine i was looking at seemed to indicated black/grey denim being the other 'in' item this fall so it might be easy to find more black jeans in a few months

I've just got the 2005/6 winter APC catalogue and there's no black denim unfortunately, there's just the narrow, new standard and mens jeans(I'm assuming these are the rescues) - so there's no more english cut either.

wonder if they'll introduce black denim later - just got some helmut lang black denim, and new standards would look perfect in this colour

some nice stuff in there though...

They still carry the English in some sizes in the store. The black denim are the washed jeans bleached further and then overdyed black so the seams look a little faded.
